By Andrew Czaja

If you are one of those who are up to date with their gadgets, you may also have had an iPhone loaded with plenty of applications. Other people who have an iPhone and at the same time another Apple device would want the same applications present on both gadgets but they do not know that it is possible to do it without installing it one application to another. Using iTunes, it is possible to synchronize all your applications from your iPhone to your device. Here are the steps to follow if you want to sync apps from your iPhone to your device.

1. Activate your iTunes account which is the first step that you should do. Having an iPhone may also mean you have an iTunes account. In order to download the most recent version of iTunes, go to the Apple website. Create an account in iTunes if you have not created one yet. You must have installed iTunes on the computer.

2. Your iPhone comes with a cable that allows you to create a connection between your smartphone and your computer - this is the time when you need to use it. This process must only be done after having installed iTunes on your computer. You will see on your screen a message confirming the connection once you are able to connect your iPhone with your own computer.

3. Inside iTunes look for the section that is named Devices - this is on the left side of your screen. You will see that your iPhone is identified under this Devices menu. This name will only be displayed if the computer is able to detect your iPhone. Click on your iPhone name where you can find syncing options menu. In order to sync, click on the Sync button which is right beside the name under the iTunes button. The syncing process may take a few minutes to complete. Basically it depends on how many files it has to synchronize. Once complete, all the media files and the applications in your iPhone will be the same as that of your computer thanks to iTunes. The computer can be disconnected from your iPhone as soon as this is finished.

4. In order to synchronize the apps to your device, connect your device to the same computer again by using the cable which you can also find in the box when you bought your device. If it is detected upon connecting the device, iTunes will also show the name if your device under its list of identified Devices when you connect the cable. Click the name of your device then select Apps which is another menu under your iTunes application toolbar. There will be a long list of apps that you can sync on your device device. Remove the selected apps if you do not want them included. Once you are sure about the list of apps you have selected, click Apply. This completes the synchronization process of syncing your apps to the device.
