Picking the Top Paid Android Applications

By David Huffman

There is such a wide array of paid applications for Android phones to choose from, how do you know which ones are worth spending your money on? You don't want to shell out money that you don't have to. Although, not all of the free Android applications (or apps) will provide exactly what you want. So how do you decide which apps are right for you? How do you know which applications are the best? We chose to try out a few of the trendiest paid apps for Android phones. Here are what we consider the top paid Android applications.

Greed is an affordable paid application for Android. It's name makes it sound money-related but it doesn't have anything to do with money management. You will use this Android app to keep up with all of your RSS feeds. For less than three bucks you will be able to integrate your Google Reader seamlessly into your Android phone. If you enjoy reading news sites or blogs, use this Android app to help you instantly receive the latest updates from all of the sites you read on a regular basis. You won't ever have to worry that you are missing someone's story or post. The app helps you keep up with your feeds even if it isn't connected to the internet; it also allows you to use twitter and manages all of your podcasts!

Discover Pro is a paid app that is very useful and only costs seven dollars. You can use this application to send files to and from your computer to your phone as well as sending files from your phone to someone else's phone, even if that phone does not use the Android software. This application is great for cutting down on the amount of time you spend e-mailing and makes it a lot easier to work from home--you won't be chained to your computer anymore when you want to share your files! The nice thing is that this app is not limited to only document files. You can share photos and other types of files as well!

Lost of people think that every game application should be free. The Air Hockey app for Android phones is only ninety nine cents (at the time of this article's writing) and, really, is just for fun. There are few game applications that can hold the player's attention. With this game, though, who wouldn't like to play some Air Hockey? The Air Hockey application is the most popular paid game application for Android phones. It could potentially be the most popular app in the entire market! It's less than a dollar. Why not give it a try?

It is more fun to play around with applications when you own a smart phone. Heck, it might even be the whole reason that you bought your Android phone in the first place! Of course, figuring out which of the top paid Android apps are the best can be intimidating. You want to make a good investment but you also want to be free to have fun! After all you don't want to pay for something that you barely use or that doesn't suit you very well!
