The Right Business Phone Provider

By Jason D Pearlington

One of the main things to think about when setting up a business from scratch is how are people going to get hold of you. You may have the best product int the world or you may have the best service but everything comes down to one thing in business - effective communication.

Effective communication is only possible with a good phone system. Yes it is boring but it is true. It isn't just a case of getting a phone anymore because there are so many options available. Below is the considerations to this about when choosing your provider.

1. You need to compare costs, shop around and ask businesses to beat you current quotes.

2. Choose a company with a good service level agreement. Not all companies promise to deliver the same level of service.

3. Check to see how reliable the company is and if they have recently experiences any problems or downtime.

4. Speak with their current clients, don't let them choose who you speak with just be cheeky and call one up.

5. Location is important, you should really be using a company in your own country because if you get a problem then you can easily deal with it!

6. Try to get the company to provide the equipment and make them responsible for it, this way if they provide the phone and if goes wrong you will have one less thing to worry about.

7. Contract length is important, if you are just starting out you may want to sue a pay as you go service where you are not tied into many months of uncertain times.

It can be hard starting out in business and choosing the right providers however the phone service you choose has to be good. Recent studies show that a massive number of businesses go bust because they recently spent an amount of time without their phone service.
